Use

In this IMG activity, you specify conversions for individual HL7 message fields. The system controls conversions using the message type owner code. Separate specifications have to be made for inbound and outbound messages.

You can specify customer-specific conversions of field contents for each message type owner code. The system identifies the fields via the HL7 table number.

The system then performs the conversion for each message type with the corresponding message type owner code regardless of the segment owner code. This also applies explicitly if you use the original segment with the segment owner code "SH". This ensures that a field within a message type always contains the same values, even if this field occurs in more than one segment.
