In this IMG activity, you define service code remappings for each institution by assigning a (target) service to a (source) service in relation to an assignment type. This accommodates the remapping of services from the in-house service catalog to services from a billing catalog.

Requirements

You have created the following data:

The validity periods of the service code remappings must be identical to those of the services used.

You need to have made the appropriate entries in the service catalog determination table for the required combination of service catalogs (source and target catalogs).

Activities

  1. Check if service code remapping is used in your institution.
  2. Specify the remapping of services from the in-house service catalog to services from the billing catalog.
  3. Your entries must contain the following specifications:
    • The institution (under a four-character key) in the Inst field
    • The identification key of the source catalog in the first SC field
    • The source service in the first Service field
    • The assignment type in the Asgmt Ty field
    • The identification key of the target catalog in the second SC field
    • The target service in the second Service field
    • The validity period in the Valid From and Valid To fields.
