Use

The case category is a semantic-free classification of the case. It is used to control the patient's treatment at an early stage and thus to trigger the appropriate type of documentation. You can use it to determine the selected admission variant, the assignment of situations and tasks.

You most often enter case categories when creating a case.

Example

DE:     KV (panel physician association case)

    BG (workers' compensation case)

    PV (direct patient billing)

AT:     Research case

Execution

  1. Enter the institution in the Inst. field.
  2. Specify an input value for the case category in the CCty field.
  3. Enter a meaningful text for the case category in the Case Category field. For further information, see the F1 Help.
