If you create a document in another application, you can only post to the FI-SL version 1 for actual data from the FI, SD, and MM applications. Beginning with Release 3.0, you can post certain CO data to a different version. If you directly enter a document in the FI-SL system, you can also use different versions.
In this step, you can maintain different actual versions for each ledger.
Requirements
If you want to maintain actual versions for a ledger, you must first create this ledger in the "Maintain Ledgers" step.
Actions
- Define or maintain the actual versions for your ledger.
- Specify whether actual data can be written to the version.
- Define or maintain a description for the actual version.
