In this step, you can specify the local retained earnings accounts to which the profit and loss accounts are transferred.
Note
By using P&L account types, you can assign several retained earnings accounts to each chart of accounts. You have to assign one retained earnings account to each P&L account type contained in a chart of accounts; the assigned retained earnings accounts can be identical or different.
You enter the chart of accounts for local retained earnings accounts in the company code master data when you create a company code.
Actions
Enter a retained earnings account for an existing "chart of accounts/P&L account type" combination or create a new "chart of accounts/P&L account type/retained earnings account" combination.
