In this activity, you can determine the report selection for the Special Purpose Ledger.

Your report selection is made in the form of a report tree. You can arrange the reports you wish to use in a report tree, organized by content and position in a hierarchy. For example, you can combine the reports for a specific application area.

Activities

You can create or change report trees. You can also copy report trees that already exist and create variants for the report trees which the individual user then assigns to himself.

Create or Copy

  1. Enter the name of the report tree that you want to create and choose Create tree.
    Note: To create a new report tree, we recommend you use standard report tree FISL as a reference. You can then modify the copy of the standard report to meet your company's specific needs. We recommend that you do not change the standard report tree provided with the system.
    To copy an already existing report tree, choose Change tree -> Nodes -> Copy ....
  2. Edit the report tree, save it, and return to the initial screen.
  3. Assign this report tree to the Special Purpose Ledger by selecting save at the initial screen.

Create and Edit Variants

  1. Enter the name of the report tree for which you want to create a variant, and choose Change tree -> Node -> Create variant ....
  2. Select transaction SERP to edit the variant created.
  3. The individual user has the option of assigning himself a variant, which means that only the selected variant of the report tree is displayed to him. To assign a variant, choose Edit -> Assign variant in the display mode (see Display).

Displaying

To display a report tree that you have assigned to the Special Purpose Ledger:

  • From the initial screen choose Information system -> Accounting -> Financial accounting -> Special Purpose Ledger -> Report selection
  • From the Special Purpose ledger choose Information system -> Report selection

You can also execute reports in display mode.
