To use the SSF mechanisms (digital signatures or digital envelopes) when using SAP GUI for Windows, users must be able to access their public-key information at the time of signing. The art and location of this information depends on the security product you use. When the user creates his or her digital signature, the SAP System must know where the user obtains his or her public-key information. For example, the user's public-key information for SSF may be stored in a Personal Security Environment (PSE) file located on his or her frontend client. The name and location of this file must be defined in the user's SSF information in the SAP System.

Prior to Release 4.6, the user's public-key information for SSF was stored in the table TC70 and maintained using the transaction O07C (also in Customizing). As of Release 4.6, the SSF information for users is stored in the table ADR11 (user address information).

If you have maintained SSF information for users in earlier releases, then use this Customizing activity to transfer the SSF information from table TC70 to ADR11.

Note that this activity is client independent. It transfers the SSF information for users in all of the SAP System clients.
