You use this activity to define the technical data for Content Server Aliases.
Use
Content Server Aliases can be used instead of the Content Server. The location of the Content Server Alias you access depends on the location of the client you are using.
Note
When entering your data, note that the technical data is case-sensitive.

Activities
- Execute the activity.
This takes you to the screen Content Server Aliases.
If you want to make New Entries, a two-part screen opens.
Make the entries for the Content Server Alias in the upper part of the screen. The lower part of the screen is for the Content Server for which the alias is being defined. - Enter the technical data for the alias. Alternatively, change the existing data accordingly:
- Content Server Alias
- Host name of the Content Server Alias
- This is an obligatory entry.
- CS Alias Port Number
- Port number of the Content Server Alias
- CS Alias SSL Port
- SSL port number of the Content Server Alias
- CS Alias HTTP Script
- HTTP script of the Content Server Alias
- Example: ContentServer/ContentServer.dll

Note
The following entries must be consistent with the Customizing for the Content Repositories (see also Define Content Repositories).
- HTTP Server
- Host name of the Content Server
- This entry is obligatory.
- Port number of the Content Server.
- SSL port number of the Content Server.
- HTTP script of the Content Server.
- Example: ContentServer/ContentServer.dll
- Select the option No get requests if you do not require cachable get requests.
- Select the flag Inactive if you want to deactivate the Content Server Alias.
