Use
In this activity you can define defaults for the LaunchPad of the Project Self-Service role. You can define settings for the following objects:
- Project definition from cProjects (PLM-CPR)
- Project definition from the project system (PS)
- WBS element
- Internal order
Example:
For the project definition from cProjects, you can specify the following services:
- Various reporting functions
- Display transactions for the current object
- ERP reports for the assigned controlling objects
Depending on the object, you can enter defaults for selection parameters. This allows you to optimize processing at runtime.
Requirements
Before you can use the Project Self-Service role, the following systems are also required.
- cProjects 4.0
- The RFC destination used for the cProjects system is the setting in Customizing for the Project Self-Service role.
- The system that cProjects uses for integrated accounting must be the same as the ERP system that the role uses as a back-end system.
- SAP Enterprise Portal (SAP NetWeaver 2004S)
- SAP BW (SAP NetWeaver 2004S)
- Activation of the Enterprise add-ons EA_PLM and EA_FIN from the SAP Enterprise Extension.
If your system administrator wants to define default settings for worklists, you must have maintained one of the following personalization dialogs in Customizing for Personalization:
- Personalization Data Collective Processing
For the Project Self-Service role, the following personalization dialog is relevant: DIA_PSS_SNI_PD (projects).
- Personalization Data Single Processing
For the Project Self-Service role, the following personalization dialog is relevant: DIA_PSS_SNI_PD (projects).
Standard settings
Activities
You can edit the LaunchPad as follows:
- Fill Reports
You can only edit the entries in the LaunchPad.
- Fill Texts
You can edit the texts for the existing entries.
- Edit the alias that you use in the portal for the ERP system. Note that there is no check as to whether the alias you specify exists.
If errors occur, you can check them in an application log.
