Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Information System (FI-GL-IS) component. You can use this BAdI to apply new database techniques for improving the performance in program RFUMSV10 (Additional List for Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases, transaction S_ALR_87012359). The program creates an additional list for the advance return for tax on sales/purchases. The program takes the tax base amounts from the G/L account items rather than the tax items (or in the case of down payments, from the subledger line items) of documents.

The BAdI method READ_FROM_DB reads all the document header, line items and related tax data according to specific selection criteria.

Performance improvements from using new database techniques are expected to arise from:

  • Faster data selection by state-of-the-art databases
  • Reduced database calls from the ABAP server
  • Reduced volume of data transferred from the database to the ABAP server
