Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) component. You can use this BAdI to apply new database techniques for improving the performance of transaction FLQAF.

Transaction FLQAF Liquidity Calculation: Assignment with Uni-Directional Document Chains goes through the actual documents in the liquidity calculation, with the exception of manual transfer postings. It attempts to assign liquidity items to the Liquidity Planner (LP) line items, so as to describe information relating to the uses and sources of cash in a company.

Performance improvements from using new database techniques are expected to arise from:

  • Generally faster data selection by state-of-the-art databases
  • Aggregation of data on database level instead of ABAP server level
  • Reduced volume of data transferred from the database to the ABAP server

Requirements

Standard settings

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab page in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

BAdI Definition

  • RFLQ_DBSYS_OPT

The filter DBSYS_TYPE has been defined for this BAdI. When you launch transaction FLQAF, the filter detects the static attribute DBSYS_TYPE value. If the value is HDB, the system uses the optimized logic built for a high-performance database. Otherwise, the system uses the original logic in program RFLQ_ASSIGN_CCR.

SAP Implementation

  • GET_DOC_CHAIN

The BAdI enhancement implementation reads and aggregates data. This enhancement implementation is assigned to filter value HDB.
