Standard settings

Activities

To each expense item, assign all costs items that are necessary for calculating the particular expense. You then use these items in the calculation algorithm of a calculation rule that you define in a separate step.

Example

You want the system to calculate expense for depreciation as 2% of building costs. To enable the system to determine the total costs for the building, assign all costs items for building costs to the "Building Depreciation" expense item.
