Use
In this section you enter additional information on the role categories used in the applications.
Activities
Role Category Grouping:
You enter a partner grouping for each role category that you have assigned to an application category in the IMG activity Assign Role Category to an Application. The partner grouping determines the number range used for creating business partners. If the number range is external, the partner number (alpha-numerical) has to be specified when you create a new partner.
Note that for customer and vendor roles the account group of the automatically created customer/vendor also depends on the partner grouping.
Address type
Alternatively, you can enter an address type for each application category/role category.
In this case, the application defaults this address type as the standard address type when a new business partner is created.
