Use
In this activity you define which role categories for the business partner can be used in an application (for example: Caretaker - Application category Building).
The following application categories are used in Flexible Real Estate Management:
0036 Real estate contract
0051 Business entity
0052 Land
0053 Building
0054 Rental object
0057 Architectural object
0065 DME settlement unit (formerly heating system)
The object category text in brackets indicates the case where a different term is used other than the standard terms in Flexible Real Estate (RE-FX).
Requirements
The roles must be defined in the activity Business Partner Role Categories.
Activities
- Choose the application category. In the list, you determine the cardinality for each assigned role category, which defines the maximum number of business partners that can be assigned at any one time with this role category. If this field is blank, there is no limit to the number of business partners that can be assigned in this role.
- You can also determine if this role category is mandatory. This specification is time-dependent. In other words, if you define a role category as being mandatory, a business partner with this role category (or more, depending on the cardinality) must be assigned at any point throughout the specified validity period.
- For the maximum of two role categories of the main contractual partner that can be defined in the contract type, the cardinality and mandatory fields are irrelevant.
However, the role categories entered here must all be assigned to application categories "0036".
You can also exclude permitted role categories (role categories
assigned to application category "0036" for particular contract types.Recommended Procedure:
First assign the role categories for all contract types to application category "0036", and exclude any role categories that are not required for a contract type in the activity Exclude Role Category per Contract Type.
- If you wish to assign more role categories, choose the 'New Entries'' function.
- If you have created new role categories, you can assign these to the required application category here.
- In the activity Specify Number Range (Grouping) and Address Type, specify for each application category and role category which number range is valid for the business partner. You make these settings in the next section by assigning a partner grouping.
