Use
In this step, you specify the dates on which a real estate contract should appear for resubmission and be processed.
Specify the rules using this Customizing activity and in subsequent processing using BTE (Business Transaction Events). Activate the rules on the contract in the application.
Standard settings
There are three resubmission rules in standard Customizing:
- S01: Default for Start Date
- The contract appears for resubmission only on a set date entered in the application.
- E01: &1 Month before Contract End
- The contract receives a resubmission date on a date entered in the application that is before the contract expires (fixed-term contracts).
- R01: From Date &1 Every &2 Months
- The contract recieves periodic dates for resubmission: after a certain entered date, repeats in a monthly cycle.
Activities
To create additional rules, follow these steps:
- Specify rules
- At the resubmission rule level, choose New Entries. Enter a key and an informative name for the rule with a variable, for example:
You want the contract to have a resubmission date a certain number of months before the date of notice. You enter the name of the rule "Resubmission &1 months before notice date"; the value for the variable (&1) is determined in the application.
- Choose Parameter for Resubmission Rules for the rule, and choose New Entries. Specify a parameter category and a name. In keeping with the example in step 1, you would choose the category "Month" here.
- Program the Logic for the Rules
- Now you program the logic you want using BTE.
SAP supplies function module holders that you can modify.
To find the function modules, use the linked transaction. Choose Environment -> Info System (Processes) and enter the component RE (Aso refer to: Business Transaction Events).
