Use

A business partner can have various roles. In this dialog you can add to the standard roles shipped by SAP.
Choose the application object "BUPA".
This shows you all system-wide business partner roles. Change only the roles in the customer namespace (beginning with Y or Z) and create new roles only in that area.

@1A@ Changes to the roles supplied by SAP are not protected from being overwritten during an upgrade!

You can make text changes in the activity Properties of Business Partner Roles. Note, however, that the documentation uses the original names of the roles.

Requirements

Standard settings

You can add custom roles to the roles shipped by SAP. To do this, copy an SAP role to the customer namespace and adjust the text for that role. To be able to use the new role, you must also add one or more entries for the role in the subsequent dialogs.

If you want to change the screen configuration for individual roles (valid fields, screen sequence, etc.), use Configure Field Attributes per GP Role.
