Mandatory Settings

Before you can use Flexible Real Estate Management, you have to make the following basic settings:

1. Activate the Financials Extension (Application Indicator EA-FIN) Within the SAP ECC Extension

2. Activate the Real Estate Extension

Read the documentation carefully before you activate the Real Estate Extension!

3.Basic Settings for the Company Code

  • Activate Financial Assets Management in the company code.
  • Set parameters in the company code.
  • Specify product types in the company code.

4. Activate Flexible Real Estate Management in Controlling Area

5. Tenancy law

6. Measurements: settings for the following objects and processes

  • Architectural objects
  • Usage objects
  • Real estate contracts
  • Service charge settlement
  • Option rate determination
  • Calculation of condition amounts

7. Optional Settings

These basic settings are also available:

  • Technical settings for master data dialogs and for using icons and colors
  • Storage folder for temporary data (important for external service charge settlement)
  • Number range for logs in SAP Application Log
