Use
The following groups together the IMG activities that you need for setting up a new contract type.
All of these IMG activities can also be found elsewhere in the Implementation Guide.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
Work through the IMG activities sequentially. As a template, you should use the entry or entries that are most similar to the contract type you want.
Some IMG activities (such as, assignment of roles) are needed not only for the contract, but also for other objects. For these activities, the contract type is normally used as a differentiation criterion for the Contract object type. Here you make the settings for the given differentiation criterion (contract type) as needed.
For some IMG activities, assignments are required from other Customizing tables. You can only process these activities after you have made the settings in these other tables. Example: Before you can set up the default option rate methods for each contract type, you have to first define the option rate methods in Customizing for RE-FX.
