Use
In this IMG activity, you activate event type linkage so that the system can send confirmations from SAP to the Quality Inspection Engine (QIE) or to another system. The existing system sends these confirmations if it has executed the following activities based on external data received from the QIE or from the other system:
It has created an inspection lot.
It has changed an inspection lot.
It has deleted an inspection lot.
It has started recording results.
Activities
In transaction Type Linkages, activate event type linkage for the following events for the object type BUS2045:
CREATED
CHANGED
CANCELED
RESULTSRECORDINGSTARTED
Example
If you use SAP's QIE, a corresponding system status is set for the relevant inspection document when a confirmation is received by the system. If a confirmation is not sent, because an event type linkage is missing, the system status will not be set. This can lead to errors in the existing system if the inspection document is changed in the QIE. It is therefore important that you activate event type linkage.
