Use

In this Customizing activity, you can adjust the existing system statuses that are assigned to the quality issues (quality notifications) created and processed with the Report Quality Issue and My Quality Tasks applications. According to the requirements of your business case, you can change the text of the system status, you can color that text (only for quality issues), or you can set the default initial status of the reported quality issues.

Note:

The adjustments that you make in this Customizing activity affect only the use of system statuses in the Report Quality Issue and My Quality Tasks applications and do not affect the overall use of system statuses by other applications.

Requirements

You are familiar with the existing system statuses that you want to adjust.

Standard settings

The standard system is delivered with predefined entries. We recommend that you copy the existing entries and adapt the copies as described below.

Activities

  1. Enter the technical name of the system status that you want to adjust.

    You need the technical name to indicate the system status that you want to adjust for your business case and to which you want to add more properties (alternative text, color, and default setting).

  2. Enter the name of the application in which the status is used.
    • Enter Q01 for the Report Quality Issue application.
    • Enter Q02 for the My Quality Tasks application.
  3. Specify the default quality issue status.

    You can specify whether you want to set the status as the default initial status of the reported quality issue.

    Note:

    The My Quality Tasks application is used only for processing existing quality tasks. Therefore, in this Customizing activity, you cannot set the default initial status of the created quality tasks.

  4. Specify the status color.

    You can add color only to the text of the quality issue status.

  5. Enter a new status text.

    Instead of the original system status text, you can specify a new text that is displayed in the Report Quality Issue and My Quality Tasks applications according to your business needs.
