In this section you define the types of WBS elements you assign to a business entity, building, or lot. You enter the type, along with the WBS element, on the Reference screen when you define the object.
The Type field is freely assigned by you and is intended to help you use your project structures to capture and report information.
Example
You create projects to tracks costs during multiple phases, such as land acquisition and land development. When you define your business entity, you specify a WBS element and enter a type. You can then use the type to search for information related to the specific stage of development.

Activities
To add a type, choose New Entries. Enter a name in the Type field. Enter a description in the TypDesc field. When you are finished, save your work.
