Use
If you want the organizational priority to be determined on the basis of the plant/storage location, use the following options for making assignments in this IMG activity:
You assign one of the organizational priorities that has already been defined to all of the plant/storage location combinations that you use. In this case, the overall priority of a material requirement is also determined on the basis of the receiving storage location.
You make an assignment at plant level only and do not enter any values for the storage locations. The organizational priority is then determined on the basis of the plants.
If you make assignments in this IMG activity, the system determines the organizational priority on the basis of the plant and storage location entered in purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and reservations. The requirement priority of a material requisition is calculated from this, in combination with the requirement urgency group.
If you use the industry solution for Defense Forces & Public Security, you can skip this IMG activity. Since you have already assigned the relevant organizational priorities to your force elements in the application, the system automatically assigns organizational priorities to plant/storage location combinations when the force elements are activated.
