In this step, you perform the configuration for printing documents from the process order.

Standard settings

In the standard system, you can print the following types of lists:

  • Operation-related lists: for example, time tickets, completion confirmation slips
  • Component-related lists: for example, pick lists
  • Complex objects: for example, object overviews, operation control tickets, job tickets

Shop floor papers

If you want to use new shop floor papers, you must

  • create a new layout set.

    Use an existing layout set as template (for example, PPPI_JOB_TICKET).

  • write a new print report

    Use a print report belonging to this layout set as template (for example, PPPILAUF).

    Note
    The form and print program must match, in other words, if you are using a PDF-based form, then you must also use a print program that supports the output of PDF.

Activities

To determine print control, proceed as follows:

  1. Maintain the descriptions of the lists.
  2. Maintain the spool parameters for the users.
  3. Maintain the reference order types.
  4. Specify the layout set and maintain the corresponding parameters.
  5. Maintain the print reports for the lists.
  6. Specify the transactions from which printing can be carried out as well as the relevant parameters (list control for transactions).
  7. Maintain the printer specifications.
  8. Specify the spool parameters for the print procedure.
  9. If necessary, specify the table accesses for the individual fields in the lists.
