In this IMG activity, you define the number ranges for capacity requirements.
All capacity requirements in the process order are identified via a requirement tracking number assigned for each order, and a sequential counter.
Note
The number range "01" is defined for the requirement tracking number. Only internal number assignment is allowed.
Requirements
To define the number intervals for requirement tracking numbers, you need authorization for the number range object "KBED". This number range object is checked in the authorization object "S_NUMBER".
Default settings
Number ranges for capacity requirements are preset in the standard system.
Activities
- Create the number range "01" for the requirement tracking numbers.
- If necessary, define a new number interval.
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
