In this IMG activity, you define the number ranges for the operations of an order.
All operations and phases in the process order are identified via the order task list number assigned for each order, and a sequential counter.
Number ranges are assigned via the order category. You can assign a number range for each order category (process order, maintenance order).
Note
Only one internal number assignment is allowed for the order task list number in this case.
Requirements
To define number intervals for order task list numbers, you need authorization for the number range object "AUF_PLAN". This number range object is checked in the authorization object "S_NUMBER".
Default settings
Number ranges are preset for operations in the standard system.
Activities
- Change or delete the number ranges contained in the standard system if necessary.
- Define the number range and the number interval for order category "40" (process order).
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
