In this IMG activity, you define the number ranges for confirmations.
Each operation and each phase is uniquely identified by an operation number or phase number within one client in the process order. You enter these numbers at confirmation.
Note
The number range "01" is defined for confirmation numbers. Only one internal number assignment is possible.
Requirements
To define the number intervals for confirmations, you need authorization for the number range object AUF_RÜCK. This number range object is checked in the authorization object S_NUMBER.
Default settings
Number ranges for confirmations are preset in the standard system.
Activities
- Create the number range "01" for confirmation numbers.
- Define a new number interval if necessary.
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
