In this IMG activity, you define the formula parameters you need for your production resources/tools.
You use formula parameters in the following locations in the system:
- In Customizing when defining the formulas for the PRT quantity and the usage value
- In PRT master records (miscellaneous) to define PRT-specific formula constants
Note
Since production resources/tools are not yet supported in the process order, the formulas do not have any functional significance in PP-PI.

Further notes
When carrying out this activity, note that formula parameters are also used in the following:
- In standard valu keys for resources
- In resource formulas that are used to calculate capacity requirements, lead times, and costs
When you change or delete a parameter, the change becomes effective in all other areas where the parameter is used.
