In this step, you create overview variants for displaying scheduling results.

In the recipe, scheduling results are displayed in the form of overviews whose layout and contents you determine by choosing a specific overview variant.

The overview variant specifies

  • the objects the system should display in the overview (for example, operations or materials)
  • the fields per object the system should display (for example, dates and quantities)

Standard settings

The standard SAP system contains a number of overview variants.

Activities

The following sections describe what you have to do to create your own overview variants:

  1. Create overview variants

    This section describes how to create overview variants.

  2. Define objects

    This section describes how to determine the individual objects you want to display on the list.

  3. Define fields

    This section describes how you select fields and determine the layout of the list.

  4. You can transport your settings. To do this, select Table view -> Transport.
