Use
In this IMG activity you assign a person wage type from the RT_PERSON table (Results Table for Person) to a personnel assignment wage type from the RT table (Results Table). Depending on the person wage type you enter, function XDIST (Exchange Wage Types Between Personnel Assignment Level and Person Level) deletes the personnel assignment wage type from table RT, or leaves it there:
- If you use the same wage type name for the person wage type as for the personnel assignment wage type, function XDIST deletes the personnel assignment wage type from the RT table. The values from the Amount and Number fields from the personnel assignment wage type are, therefore, no longer available at the personnel assignment level, but only at the person level.
- If you use a different wage type name for the person wage type than for the personnel assignment wage type, the personnel assignment wage type is kept in the RT table. The values from the Amount and Number fields from the personnel assignment wage type are, therefore, available at both the personnel assignment level and the person level.
You also specify how function XDIST should deal with the WPBP splits, country-specific wage type splits, V0 splits and cost accounting splits (C1 splits) of the personnel assignment wage types. You can choose one of the following options for each wage type split:
- Function XDIST transfers the appropriate wage type splits from the personnel assignment wage type to the person wage type.
- Function XDIST deletes the appropriate wage type split in the person wage type and summarizes the values from the Amount and Number fields of the personnel assignment wage type.
