Use
In this IMG activity you create a basis for the distribution of person-related wage types. This distribution basis determines which characteristics of the relevant personnel assignment the system uses to calculate which proportion of the source wage type should be allocated to which personnel assignment. This can be one of the following characteristics:
- The value in field number or amount of a certain wage type of the relevant personnel assignment, for example, wage type /101 (Total gross amount).
- The planned working time of the relevant personnel assignment, measured in working hours, working days or calendar days.
- The total of values from the fields number or amount of all wage types of the relevant personnel assignment that have a certain cumulation type and so are included in a certain cumulation wage type.
- The total of the values from the fields number or amount of all wage types of the relevant personnel assignment for which a certain specification of a processing class is assigned.
You can use the same distribution basis for all source wage types or you can create different distribution bases.
You have to assign a distribution method to the distribution basis in the IMG activity Create Distribution Rule for Wage Types. In this way you determine how the system uses this distribution basis to calculate how the wage type amounts are distributed.
