In this step, you set as a default for certain company codes that acquisitions in this company code are only allowed in the year in which depreciation started. This setting may be necessary for technical reasons, for example, if you use sum-of-the-years-digits depreciation. It is also possible to use this function for organizational purposes.
The system takes this indicator into account for company codes only if you chose "default value from company code" in the depreciation key under "acquisition allowed only in capitalization year."
