In this step, you define the way retirement transfers are treated, per depreciation area:
- Transfer of APC and proportional value adustments
- Transfer of APC without proportional value adjustment account
Note
The second option is required for group assets in accordance with ADR legislation in the United States.
Standard settings
The standard retirement transaction types supplied by SAP use the first option. This is the posting variant that is required in most countries to comply with tax and balance sheet regulations.
Activities
For each of your retirement transaction types, specify the posting variant you want to use in each depreciation area.
