Use
Asset transfers between affiliated companies represent an acquisition or a retirement from the point of view of the participating individual companies. From the point of view of the corporate group, it is a transfer. The business transaction is posted as an acquisition or a retirement. Nevertheless, the business transaction should appear as a transfer from a consolidation point of view.
In this activity, therefore, you can specify that the system represents transfers between affiliated companies correctly as transfers in reports for the corporate group. You can make this specification per depreciation area.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard depreciation areas for legal consolidation can be recognized by their names.
Activities
Set the Transfer Gross indicator for the group depreciation areas. This has the effect that asset transfers are not represented in these areas as acquisitions or retirements but as transfers (particularly in the asset history sheet).
