The default values in the asset class generally apply in all clients (that is, regardless of the chart of depreciation). Therefore, it is sufficient to specify the property classification key once for each asset class.
You need to carry out the following step only if you need country-specific property classification keys (for each chart of depreciation), as opposed to the much more common situation described above. When you carry out this step, the system interprets your entries for the property classification key dependent upon the chart of depreciation in the company code you are in. The system then ignores the property classification keys that are independent of the chart of depreciation.
Standard settings
The asset classes supplied by SAP do not contain any property classification keys that are country-specific (and chart-of-depreciation-specific)
Recommendation
In most cases, it is not necessary to enter country-specific property classification keys.

Enter your country-specific (chart-of-depreciation-specific) property classification keys in your asset classes.
