In this step, you define your own method for determining the company code relationship type, using a prepared customer enhancement project. The company code relationship type is the deciding factor for the transfer method to be used when you conduct an intercompany asset transfer.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the system determines the company code relationship using the following logic:
- If the company codes belong to the same company (identical company ID), then they are a single legal entity.
- If the company codes do not belong to the same company (their company IDs are different), then they are legally independent entities.
Recommendation
Generally the standard setting does not need to be changed.
Activities
- Maintain include ZXINTU07 and enter the program code there for determining the company code relationship.
- Activate a customer enhancement project (any key) using SAP enhancement AMSP0002.
