In this step, you define changes to line items using a prepared customer enhancement project. These changes become effective during the posting of asset accounting transactions (except for: complete retirement/complete transfer, write-up).
Example
In this way, it is possible, for example, to post only a percentage of the asset amount to a given depreciation area.
Note
Enhancement projects function on the basis of certain positions in standard SAP programming code that have been prepared by SAP to allow the call of function modules programmed by the user to meet his/her specific requirements. Therefore, it is possible to implement enhancement projects only if you have knowledge of the ABAP/4 programming language.

Standard settings
In the standard system, changes to line items are not possible.
Activities
- Modify function module EXIT_SAPLANLG_003 and the include program ZXINTU05 in it to meet your requirements.
- Activate a customer enhancement project (with any key) using SAP enhancement AINT0004.
