In this step, you process the condition tables.
To create a condition table, first choose the fields from the field catalog that is to be used for profile determination. Then generate the condition table.
Standard settings
The standard system contains several examples of condition tables.
Recommendation
- Only define special conditions as necessary - for example, to issue customer-specific certificates.
- Define the conditions as globally as possible by specifying the customer group instead of the customer or the material group instead of the material (for example, to restrict the number of certificate profiles and reduce the effort involved in maintaining them).
Activities
- Determine the criteria that are to be used to find certificate profiles in your company.
- Which fields are used in the condition records?
- Which condition records form a continuous sequence from special to global access which ensures that the system always finds a suitable reference?
- Define and generate the required condition tables.
