Requirements

Before you can maintain the selected sets for the usage decision, you must implement the following steps in this section:

Standard settings

For test purposes, you can copy the examples contained in the standard client 000, using the method described in the section Basic Settings Setting Up Clients.

Recommendation

Treat the catalogs as master data and make the final entries in the productive system.
Note: When catalogs are transported, usage indicators are also copied. Long texts, however, are not.

Activities

  1. Check whether catalog type 3 exists in the table.
    Copy and keep the standard settings.
  2. In catalog 3, enter the code groups and codes for the UD.
  3. Maintain the selected sets from catalog 3 at plant level.
