In this step you can adapt the inventory postings that are linked to
the usage decision.
Standard settings
Several movement types are delivered with the standard system for transfer posting the stocks managed in the inspection lot.
The table has the delivery class G. The following name range is reserved for the user:
- Inspection lot origin 01, 04, 05, 08, 09
Recommendation
Keep the standard settings!
Activities
Check if you need to change the table entries and adapt the table if required.
You may need to make changes if:
- You do not want to allow certain movement types.
- You want to replace the movement types contained in the standard system with your own modified movement types 9*.
- You want to supplement the quantity postings planned in the standard system with other quantity postings.
In this case, SAP cannot guarantee that all of the possible variants for quantity postings will function perfectly without program modification. If necessary, you may have to use the function enhancement (customer exit) QEVA0001 to achieve your aims.
Use the keys VMENGE08 for additional quantity postings. Key VMENGE09 is reserved for SAP.
- These quantity postings appear on the screen when you make the usage decision.
You can define the descriptions of these postings individually in project management for the function enhancements (transaction CMOD). Use the function "Global enhancements/Change keywords" to modify the data elements, e.g. QVMENGE08. Unfortunately, these adjustments are not visible in the Implementation Guide. They only have effect in the transaction for the usage decision.
Further notes
Printing of accompanying papers for goods movements
If the system does not print any goods issue slips, even though the printing function works from MM, this is usually due to the following:
- The user parameter NDR = X is not set.
- In the settings for the MM component, the print for inventory postings is not taken into consideration when you are in the usage decision.
If either of these occurs, proceed as follows:
- In the user master record, set the parameter NDR = X.
This is necessary for automatic printing because the inventory posting is made in the background and the print indicator cannot therefore be set manually. - Make the required Customizing settings in the MM component.
- Set a print version for usage decision transactions QA11 and QA12 in the general settings for print control (transaction OMBR).
- Set a print indicator for the relevant movement types for goods receipts or goods issues and transfer postings.
- Maintain condition records for output determination for the relevant output types with operation type WQ (transaction MN22).
- To print labels, you need the following additional steps:
- Perform all the functions given in the settings for label printing (transaction OMCF).
- Create a condition record for the label form and label type (transaction MN22).
- Maintain the label form and label type in the storage view for the material.
