In this step, you can define inspection result origins for inspection characteristics.
The user can specify a results origin during results recording, as long as the inspection characteristic has the status "in process". The results origin entry is a source of information only.
In addition to the description of the results origin, you can also choose a data source for the inspection results. If you specify the results origin during inspection planning for an inspection characteristic, the inspection results for the affected characteristic characteristic are taken from this data source.
Example
Recorded results do not just come from an inspection. They can also come from:
- Technical data
- Quality certificates
- Batch specifications
Standard settings
The table has the delivery class G. The following name range is reserved for the user:
- Data origin 9*, A*, ... , Z*
Activities
Determine whether results origins must be defined and recorded for inspection characteristics, and maintain the table if required.
