In this step, you create the profiles.
Profiles contain authorization objects for clearly defined areas of responsibility.
Standard Settings
The standard SAP version contains the following profiles for purchasing functions:
- M_EINK_ALL Maintenance authorization Purchasing, total
- M_EINK_ANZ Display authorization Purchasing, total
- M_ANFR_ALL Maintenance authorization Request for quotation
- M_ANFR_ANZ Display authorization Request for quotation
- M_ANGE_ALL Maintenance authorization Quotation
- M_ANGE_ANZ Display authorization Quotation
- M_BANF_ALL Maintenance authorization Purchase requisition

The authorizations contained in the SAP standard profiles are always valid for all organizational units.
Actions
- Check the profiles that come with the standard SAP R/3 System.
- If these profiles do not cover all your needs, create new ones.
Note on Transport
You transport profiles as follows:
- Display the profiles list.
- Choose "Profile - Transport".
- Select the profiles you wish to transport.
- Confirm your selections and enter the correction number.
