Use
In this step, you define the production supply areas for KANBAN production control/Just-in-Time.
The production supply areas form the storage units which are available directly on the production line or at the work center. Here, materials in the containers are made available for production directly. The production supply area is assigned to a:
- Plant
- Storage location
- Person responsible
The goods movement postings are made on the assigned storage location. In the control cycle, the person responsible determines the source (that is, the production supply area) for the replenishment for in-house production.
