In this step, you can assign a partner determination procedure to each order type.
In addition, you can define a partner function for service orders according to which the customer data is managed.
In the partner function field, Person responsible, you define the function, according to which the the person or organizational unit responsible for the order is managed.
If you enter a partner function in this field, you are then able to enter a partner in one of the fields in the order header.
However, you can use this function for a further purpose.
If you want to trace capacity loads of the individual order operations at the level of individual people, you can use this function to determine automatically a person, who is also responsible for the execution of the order. A capacity load record would then be generated automatically for this person.
In order to use this function, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
- The function must be a function that is based on a person and not an organizational function, and
- At least one person must be assigned to the main work center that is entered in the order header.
If these requirements are fulfilled, automatic capacity load records can be created automatically for all operations that are assigned to this work center.
In order to make use use of these functions, the field, Capacity load, must also be selected.
Partner function for direct paging
If you use the paging function, you can enter a partner function which is to be used for the direct paging function from the order header. In this way, you can ensure that a person is called immediately by executing the paging function in the order header.
You therefore do not have to go to the partner overview screen to select a person directly.
Prerequisites
The direct paging function must be a partner function for which address data can be maintained.
The address data must, of course, be maintained for direct paging.

Pefore performing the assignment, you must have defined the possible partner determination procedures.
