In this Customizing activity,you can define
- Whether you want to maintain notification- and order data in one screen. This means that you can create another notification automatically when entering the order.
- Whether the long text of the notification header should be automatically copied to the order header
- Whether and in what range you allow the assignment of operations to object list entries of the order
Maintain notification- and order data in one screen
In the order header data screen, you find some central data fields for the notification, which you can maintain completely if desired.
Because the notification is created automatically by the system, here you can define the order types for which these functions should be used and which notification type the system should use.
Note that for all notification types which you enter here, an internal number assignment is strictly necessary.

These functions are advisable if your maintenance process is set out in such a way that the person who reports a malfunctionon can also generate the appropriate order in one step.
An example of this might be a quick malfunction processing or all the maintenance orders which are created in the system without any forward planning and which nevertheless should not be created without the technical data.
Of course, you can also create orders without a notification, or enter the notification from the order completion confirmation at a later date.
