In this IMG activity, you can enhance existing answer type to include your own answer types and you can specify specific answer types.
A view appears in the system with two steps in which you can edit the following data:
- Answer Type
In this step you can enhance existing answer types to include your own answer types. Answer types 1-10 are standard settings and cannot be changed.
- Specific Answer Type
In this step you can specify answer types for certain objects for your own answer types. You assign an assignment category to each of the specific answer types. The specific answer types are displayed for selection as answer criteria.
In this IMG activity, you can translate the specific answer types into different languages.
Standard settings
The following settings are contained in the standard system:
- 1 - Yes/No
- 2 - Multiple Choice
- 3 - Manual Entry
- 4 - Single Choice
The settings 1-10 are predefined, and can only be enhanced but not changed.
Activities
- In the Answer Type step, enhance the existing answer types if required.
- In the Specific Answer Type step, create the respective specific answer type for the defined answer types.
- Assign an assignment category to each specific answer type.
Translating the Specific Answer Types
- Select the specific answer type that you want to translate and choose Edit -> Translation.
- Choose the language in which you want to translate the specific answer type.
- Choose Copy.
The Maintain Texts in Other Languages dialog box appears.
- Enter the translation.
- Choose Continue.
