In this Customizing activity, you can specify the examination categories.
Example
In type 2, all the laboratory tests carried out for health surveillance protocols are grouped together in the examination category laboratory examination.
Standard settings
The following examination categories are included in the standard system:
- 1 - Audiogram
- 2 - Laboratory
- 3 - Physical
- 4 - Pulmonary
Assigning keys
The namespace 1_ through 4_ is reserved for SAP entries. For your own entries use the namespace 5_ through 9_ (see also Further notes).
For these examination categories, you can store your examination results in Medical Service in an entry screen adapted to suit your examination category (for example, for the examination category Audiogram, you can store the individual audiogram values, such as hearing loss in the left/right ear, and so on). If you specify examination categories in this Customizing activity and want to store examination results in the system for these categories, you must create a customer exit.
Note: If you specify only the name of your own examination categories in this Customizing activity without processing the customer exit, you will only see the header data for the relevant examination in the medical service. Examination results cannot be entered.
Activities
- Check which occupational health examinations performed in your company can reasonably be grouped together under an examination category.
- Create these examination categories or edit the existing examination categories.
Further notes
If you create your own examination categories using a customer exit, you must specify the key and description for the examination categories in this Customizing activity. Use the namespace 5_ through 9_ for your examination category keys.
