Use
In this IMG activity you assign check classes and container classes to a decoupled infotype. Without this entry, the infotype cannot run in the decoupled infotype framework. If you developed the decoupled infotype in the Create Infotype IMG activity, this entry is automatically generated. For more information, see SAP Library: HR Tools -> Developing an Infotype in Personnel Administration -> Developing an Infotype -> Create Infotype.
Requirements
Standard settings
All infotypes provided by SAP are correctly configured. You as a customer may not change these entries.
The customer infotype number starts with the number 9 (9nnn).
Activities
If you did not use the Create Infotype IMG activity to develop the decoupled infotype, you must manually create this entry. Proceed as follows:
- Enter the infotype (Infty) that you want to configure
- Enter the check class (ABAP objects class) in which you implemented the infotype-specific processing logic (business logic) as the Check Class
- Enter the class CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_CONTAINER as the container class (Infotype Container DB). This class implements a standard response for data storage and is sufficient in most cases.
- Do not make an entry for container class (Infotype Container GUI)
- Define the permissibility of the infotype as follows:
- Not permitted
- The infotype does not run using decoupled business logic in HR master data maintenance (PA30). Instead it runs using the current module pool technology. An infotype only runs using the decoupled business logic if the decoupled infotype framework is directly accessed (for example, by Employee Self-Services applications or in the HR Administrative Services framework).
- Central services
- This setting is not permitted for customer infotypes.
- Permitted in some circumstances
- Specifies individual infotype versions of an infotype that continue to run using the module pool technology. Other infotype versions of this infotype are already decoupled. If the decoupled infotype framework is active, you can maintain the infotype versions that run decoupled in the Assign Dialog Modules for HR Master Data Maintenance IMG activity. For information, see SAP Library: Developing an Infotype in Personnel Administration -> Developing an Infotype.
- Permitted in all circumstances
- The infotype and all existing infotype versions (country versions) of this infotype run in HR master data maintenance (PA30) using the decoupled business logic (see IMG activity Assign Check Classes for Infotype Versions).
If specific infotype versions with deviating business logic exist for an infotype, you must specify them in the Assign Check Classes for Infotype Versions IMG activity.
Example
Infotype: 9001
Check class: ZCL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_9001
Container DB: CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_CONTAINER

Permissibility: Permitted in all circumstances
