In this step you can define which wage types are included in a wage maintenance type. You determine which current wage types from the Basic pay infotype are to be compared against which guaranteed wage types from the Wage maintenance infotype. The result of this difference calculation is the wage maintenance.
Having defined the interval and time unit of the adjustment in the previous step, you now define the adjustment amount and type for your wage maintenance type.
Example
Further wage maintenance type settings are made in this step. Therefore refer back to the example in the step Define characteristics of wage maintenance types.
Activities
Choose a wage maintenance type that you created in the two previous steps.
In the WTyp field, define the wage types you want to be able to enter in the Wage maintenance infotype.
You can compare a guaranteed wage type against several wage types from the Basic pay infotype: In the No field, assign 01 to the first comparison wage type, 02 to the second comparison wage type etc. If you enter another guaranteed wage type, again assign 01 to your first comparison wage type, even if there are no further comparison wage types.
In the field CoWT, define the wage types of the Basic pay infotype that you want to use for comparison.
In the field Ind, define whether you want the wage type to be an obligatory wage type in the Wage maintenance infotype.
If you want to enter several wage types in the Wage maintenance infotype, you must use the numbering in the No field to define the order in which they appear in the infotype.
In the Statement wage type field, define the wage type you want to contain the difference (wage maintenance).
Define the adjustment amount of the Wage maintenance wage type in the AdjAmt field.
Define the adjustment type in the AdjTy field.
Define the validity period of these calculation rules.
