In this step, the jobs are scheduled for the periodic creation of IDocs for master data.

The jobs are scheduled for each defined variant (hence, for each message type).

You can also schedule the deletion of change pointers as a job on its own or as one step in a job, provided that you have created a a variant for program RBDCPCLR .

Example

If, for example, the material master is to be distributed, a job must be planned for the message type (for example, MATMAS), which periodically (for example, once a day) checks the changes and generates IDocs.

Requirements

Variants must have been defined - for program RBDMIDOC one variant per message type.

Standard settings

As a default, no jobs are scheduled.

Activities

  • Define a job with the step RBDMIDOC and a variant maintained by you.
  • Schedule the job as a periodic job, where the period must be adapted to your requirements (for example, hourly, daily, and so on).
  • Save the job.
  • Create a job for every master data message type.
