    • Message variant
    • Message function
    • Partner type of sender
    • Partner number of sender
    • Partner role of sender
  • SAP recommends you define variants with the logical message type and the partner number. Which IDocs are imported and how often they are imported depends on your requirements.
  • You must create a variant for all partners and message types which are not processed immediately.
  • SAP recommends you define a variant without any values to create the IDcos still left over.
